Woman with perfect memory baffles scientists

Woman with perfect memory baffles McGaugh and colleagues at UC Irvine. She remembers everything, at least that's what the news article says. I'll read the scientific article and update this post

Brokeback prison

Prisoners can't watch Brokeback Mountain. That's OK because the Academy members didn't watch it either before the Oscars.

Clothes that fit

It turns out that the clothing industry is like the computer industry: a few open-source rebels in an industry that works on propriety stuff. The NY Times reports that the open source rebels want to make a universal size chart that would be free to the public while most companies want to keep their proprietary sizes because once a customer figures out her size in their brand, she is too tired to shop around.

help me out here:

[insert clever analogy about how one customers figure out how to do a task in Microsoft or Apple environments they won't try Linux or some free system]

[insert clever joke about sizing the morbid obese population]

[insert futuristic cool software that could make a 3D model of each person so you could try on your clothes in the virutal world if not for those darn business people trying to get you in their stores and the shipping agencies who make a buck when you return clothes that just don't fit]

thanks for the help
